Client: Enwave Energy Corporation

Year: 2017 and 2020

Locations: Pearl Street and London District Energy

The Pearl Street CHP plant consists of 2 x 1.98 MW Toromont G3516H reciprocating engine CHP packages.

The London District Energy CHP plant generally consists of the following major components:

FVB Energy performed a review of relevant project design and commissioning documentation in the role as the Independent Engineer to establish appropriate due diligence. The review included meeting with Enwave project stakeholders in advance of the performance test to participate in a guided walk down of the CHP installations and verify points of electrical and thermal interconnection and metering in accordance with metering plans.

By utilizing our agnostic knowledge of cogeneration equipment/ configurations and IESO CHPSOP contracts, FVB could independently review and witness performance data and continuous operation for the contracted duration of the Performance Test.

FVB Energy witnessed the performance test and could verify that the testing was performed according to the requirements and achieved the stated performance. Prior to the Performance Test, FVB reviewed the IESO CHPSOP II Contract, Metering Plan, Test Plan, permits and other relevant documentation, and could provide comments in accordance with the IESO Independent Engineer Certificate.
