Principal
Bard is a mechanical engineer with over 34 years of energy engineering experience related to district energy and cogeneration projects with locations in North America and Europe. He is responsible for managing projects in detailed design and feasibility study stages.
His work includes the design and management of projects related to district heating, district cooling, steam-to-hot water conversions, biomass and combined heat and power. Bard has significant expertise in analysis of buildings system design and optimization, heat transfer technology, hydraulic analysis, performance and efficiency of district energy systems, and in the design of energy transfer stations and building conversions for various types of buildings. He has also been involved in alternative energy projects, including fuel cells, biomass, geothermal and solar.
